という独自の見解があり、その為、社会主義国家のロシア (旧ソ連) では、存在しないものとされていた。
その為、デュマガリエフのような人間が発生すると、ロシアは公にせず隠蔽しようとする
(ネットが流通した現在においては完全に隠すのは不可能に近いが) 。
ただ、実際はロシアはアメリカと同様の数のシリアルキラーが暗躍していると言われている。
また、そういったロシアの体制のせいか、ロシアの殺人鬼による殺害数は、異様に多い傾向にある

ニコライ・エスポロヴィチ・デュマガリエフ
（カザフ語: Николай Еспол?лы Ж?ма?алиев、
英語: Nikolai Espolovich Dzhumagaliev、1952年11月15日 - ）
は、旧ソ連に存在したシリアルキラー・カニバリストである。

NIKOLAI DZHUMAGALIEV AKA "METAL FANG"別名「金属の牙」

１９５２年１１月１５日、旧ソ連・カザキスタンのアルマータ地方でデュマガリエフは生まれた。
ズマガリエフは子供の頃から頭が良く、賢い少年であった。
礼儀正しく紳士のような振る舞いをしていたが、内心では売春婦を憎み、歯科医に金属製の牙を特注で作らせ、
歯の上に装着させるような異常な人物であった。
そんなデュマガリエフは、憎んでいる売春婦を殺して食べれば、自らの魂が浄化されるという歪んだ思考を抱いていた。

デュマガリエフは繁華街や公園等で女性を物色すると、言葉巧みに誘い出し、川沿いを一緒に歩いた。
そして、人気のない場所に来ると、いつも持ち歩いているバッグに入れた斧で頭を割って殺害した。
続いてアーミーナイフで首を切り裂き、溢れ出る生き血を飲むと、死体をバラバラに切り刻んだ。
そのバラバラになった死体を部位毎に切り分け、バッグに入れて持ち帰った。
\料理に使わない部位は河原で焼いて川に流して捨てた。

宿泊しているユースホステルの自分の部屋に戻ると、持ち帰った肉を使ってロシア料理を作った。
生首を大鍋に入れ、煮込んでシチューにしたり、乳房をフライにして食べた。

しかも、デュマガリエフは自分で人肉を食べるだけでは飽き足らず、同じホステルの客達を招待し、
人肉料理を振る舞った。
このデュマガリエフの料理は美味しいと評判で、デュマガリエフの料理を楽しみにしている人間もいたほどであった。

ちなみにデュマガリエフの「この女は売春婦だ」という判断は、完全に自分自身のみの基準であり、
実際は売春婦ではない女性が次々と殺害された。
その為、殺害した相手はほとんどが売春婦ではなく、実の妹すらも殺して食べる異常さであった。

デュマガリエフは首都モスクワに出て、労務者をしながらユースホステルや労働者宿泊所を転々として過ごした。
もちろん、モスクワでも女性を次々と殺害し、食べた。
１９８１年１月、ユースホステルの泊まり客の女性２人が、泥酔してデュマガリエフの部屋に間違えて入ってしまった。
すると、ちょうどその時、デュマガリエフが女性の生首を鍋で煮込んでいる最中であった。
余りの行状に驚いた女性は、すぐさま警察に通報。
駆け付けた警官にデュマガリエフはあっさり逮捕された。

警察の尋問にデュマガリエフは
「５０人以上は殺して食べた」
と自供するが、確認されているのは１０人であった。
デュマガリエフは精神病院の最厳重病棟に収容され、電気ショック治療が行われた。

１９８９年、デュマガリエフはカザキスタンの精神病院に移送されることになったが、空港で隙を見て脱走した。
脱走したデュマガリエフは、旧ソ連各地を逃げながら転々とし、更に殺人を繰り返した。
ＫＧＢ (ソ連国家保安委員会) の捜査官がデュマガリエフ捜索に乗り出し、１９９１年１２月、モスクワで
デュマガリエフを再逮捕した。
裁判でデュマガリエフには無期懲役が言い渡された。
彼は今日まで精神病院に収監されている。
